A dark section of jungle on the Sella River leads to bright, sunny Sella Bay. Its contrast makes this area beautiful and exceedingly difficult to photograph.

Back on the Fonte River
This is our first time at this location since the typhoon. On our last attempt, we turned back because of rain. Downed trees have made it a difficult hike.

Many happy returns
This little waterfall on the Fonte River has been one of our favorite places in recent years. My son and I just had the chance to visit that area again.
Get your feet wet
I was standing with my heels in the lapping surf when I captured this image. At high tide, these plants hang just over the rocks at the water’s edge.
