The trail that follows the Fonte River downstream comes to a more abrupt end these days due to fallen trees. This cascade is just above the final stretch.

What you don’t see
This overgrown portion of the trail to Fonte Dam isn't used any more. The trail is almost completely washed out where I am standing to take the photo.

This is the natural stopping point on the Mount Lamlam hike. It is 1,283 feet above sea level. Continue to the highest peak on Guam and reach 1,332 feet.
