These common crustaceans on Guam grow and shed their old shells. I have never seen a more perfectly intact molt, which I found at Asan beach recently.

World war two era rusted metal and coral rock mingle together in the surf as they have since liberation. Rust has become a permanent part of this rock.

Tarzan Falls is a slightly different experience when more water is flowing. It was a muddy hike to the bottom, but most images of the falls were better.

We don't spend a lot of time on the southern part of the island. Today we were hiking at Fouha Bay and stopped to take in the southern mountain views.

After many hikes to this location, I made my first image inside Pågat caves. I opened the shutter for two seconds, illuminating the scene with headlamps.

Deborah and I spent part of a recent day off walking to the old Hila’an village site near Tumon. I stopped to photograph this unusual piece of driftwood.
